From RAF News;

'The first Tristar in grey livery is back home at Brize Norton - just in time for a 'bolthole' operation with the station's VC10s, Tristars and C-17s moving to Fairford while the Brize runway is upgraded.'

How long do these suckers take to paint? Anyone remember the Desert Pink one from Gulf 1?

Is that the one that had the pink stuff baked onto the frame because it stayed out in theatre too long? I believe the tonka jockies called it The Flying *ick, (trying to be polite), cause of the blue vein down the side. Apparently, you could not miss it when tanking :D
