Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, I'm Mark 23 and joining the RAF all being well as an Avionics Technican (electronics). I have my entrance exams this Friday, now i sat these before when i was comtemplating joining at 18 and i was just two points short. But i'm confident i will now pass it.

However the thing I'm abit worried about is my fittness, I know you have to do a basic fittness test. I believe i am in not too shape after partying every night for the past few years, I mean my endurance is good, and i can do a mile and a half run in 8.40, and sit ups and strength are good too but press up's god help me i struggle to do 10, does anyone have any advice on this as to how many i need to do and what time limit i would have, i keep trying with them, but they don't get easier.

Thanks in advance

Mark
