Morning all.

At this point this is just a heads up; I am provisionally committed to the creation of a body of interest, or regional group of CILT in the Eastern Region in 2011. The epicentre can be considered Stansted but the blast radius quite extensive.

This might be of interest not only to serving members, but also those on the cusp of "life's great new adventure" as a result of the ongoing efforts to dispense with the need for ID Cards.

This has been talked of before here: http://www.e-goat.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=34507&highlight=cilt

and here:

but if you have not heard of CILT, the details are actually here:

For you guys, it is all about development and lifelong learning in the transport and logistics business, and for me the same but directed more towards putting something back - out of character for a Jack B, I can tell you.

This is going out to the Stackers and Slammers in the first instance, but you can see it is equally transferrable to other trades in parts at least.

Anyhow, enough of the blurb. If you are in the locale, or even if you are not and want a link up, I am am ready to help you next year if I can.

needless to say, just IM me if you have an interest and I will log all of these and get back to you with some details when collated, towards the end of the year.
