So Bury have gone to the wall has this been the wake up call for lower league football to stick within it's financial means and not shoot for the moon with just a £10 in the bank. Bury was not the only lower league football club to run with massive losses. In the business world that type of financial model would be unsustainable, why is football treated differently??

Another famous old club in Bolton Wanderers could be next.

I have a feeling a couple more will follow, most clubs are running on a shoe string and the loss of one and very possibly two pay days could have a big impact on those clubs.

From the BBC - "The 20 Premier League clubs will earn more than £5bn from their current 3 year television deal.
The 72 Football League clubs will earn less than an eighth of that between them across 5 years of their own deal.
No wonder they are chasing the promised land using money they haven't got
