Mam Fined over offensive Hillsborough T-Shirt

I don't normally link to the Daily Mail, however in this case it is one of the few places to actually say what the T-Shirt said. Link So, is this really offensive, or a bit of "Banter" that went seriously too far?? My favourite quote "Sister of Hillsborough victim suffered 'sleepless nights'...

    Another Pension on Divorce thread

Morning all, I was just looking to see what peoples experience had been with their pensions on divorce. (Disclaimer: I realise that these experiences don’t replace the need for proper legal advice, along with advice from the FPS) I am currently seperated from my (ex)wife, and looking to start...

    Service Numbers

I was once shown the formula for working out the letter at the beginning of your service number from the numbers. Apparently the letter is there as a check, so that when the number was entered into a computer system, it was verified as correct. Does anyone know this formula?

Car insurance on return from Cyprus tour

I am due to be posted back to the UK from Cyprus later on this year. I just wondered if UK insurance companies readily accept Cyprus issued No Claims certificates (I'm with Laiki). Or if there are specialist companies i should look out for. Grateful for any info/experiences

    Ccu Episkopi

Sean, I'm at Epi at the minute. Yes it is a bit armyfied, compulsory PT etc, but it is a good posting. Lots of things to do, especially if you are a day worker, as you get most afternoons off. Cost of living is relatively cheap, compared to the UK, plus the LOA doesn't go amiss. If you want more...

    Sat Nav

I used to have the Road Angel navigator when i was in the UK. It was a good unit, it did postcode search, auto-Rerouting if you deviated from the route, but also had a built-in speed camera database. It cost about £400 when i bought it, but you can get it cheaper now i think. The monthly...

I should think you'd be entitled to apply for them, but then I'm not an expert. Best thing to do is ask, the worst they can do is say no!!!

AT & Being payed (RAF Covering costs)

If it is a properly organised Exped then you should be able to get funding through a SIF fund or through the Gym (I think this applies to RAuxAF too). If not go to Weston, not as sunny, but free and well worth it. I did the course last year and had a brilliant time
