    Cheers, I wield a Winchester Enfield P14 action chambered to .308 in a refurbished stock as a target rifle. Stainless 33" barrel.

    Story from my dealer goes that it was one of 6 rescued from an Army Cadet detatchment who were about to sell them for scrap after their TR activities folded. He re-barreled the action and re-bedded it. My mate ownes the other one of the pair (out of the 6 we have the only two with P17 extractors fitted, it helps to shoot in the same club as your supplier!!!)
