Joined in 1969 as Craft Apprentice Airframes 214 Entry Halton. Served at Benson, Bahrain, Valley, Fairford, Oakington, St Athan, Salalah, Brawdy.

With BAC at Tabuk in Saudi Arabia, then the Met Police Air Support Unit before locating to Aberdeen. Round the houses with the heli operators, closely involved with development and introduction to service of HUMS. Sideways move to the oil & gas business before retiring.

Target rifle shooting, deer stalking, Labradors, wine and music.
