hey, me and my partner left the army last year to have our little boy but now my partner wants a fresh start and wants to try the raf... only thing is we are not married we are only engaged so would we still be eliable for a quarter, marriage is on the cards just not yet obviously we live together as a family now and dont want to change that just because of the raf, please can someone explain what would happen thank. x

Unless you are either Married or in a civil partnetship (gay wedding thingy) or if he has legal custody of the child because you are seperated/divorced, you are not eligable for a MQ.

Your choices would be rent locally (Very expensive)
Get married ...
