I've been lurking for a while, so now its time to finally stick my head over the parapet.

I went to PMA as an observer on a board last year, and all the boards had Flt Lt presidents, so the DVD must be out of date/inaccurate. As for the prom board being discussed, I know who the Trade Spec was and I'm sure I have met the president, who was a Flt Lt. The trade Spec has spent as much time working in the IM field as he has working on legacy kit. He has spent more time in comcens than most of you have been in the RAF - he even got invited to the Tg11 reunion a few years ago and I heard that he has recently done the combat custodian course. At least they put someone in who trade knowledge on both sides of the fence for the first combined board. As for the immature comment about clouded judgement, from what I've seen there are 3 people on a board who all discuss the merits of each candidate. Any bias would have been picked up by the president or 3rd member.

The clouded judgement comment, was due to there being some very strong views on the joining of tg3 and tg11.

Why don't they just publish the list? Boss at my unit has seen it but can't remember all the details, know one lad has got it high up.

I suppose its for management knowledge is power purposes but it would save all the gossip rumours!

Do you mean they have released up to 71, or they have released 30 beyond 71(i.e up to 101)?

(scratches head) They were told they were 95, so duff gen somewhere afoot. In any case, they are up in the 90's, should anyone be interested.
