Nothing changes. The radar course I was supposed to be on was over subscribed and I spent a lovely couple of weeks at sleepy Stanmore Park. That was in 1981.

About 18 months later I had to go back for some long-forgotten reason and as I signed the visitor's book I noticed my signature from my last visit on the previous page!

So a training course has been delayed and your point is? This has been happening since Pontius was a pilot. FFS my course was placed on hold during training for 2 weeks way back in 1979 man up and stop griping. Use the time to your advantage study, go the gym, surf porn sites. I can assure the OP things have been done to get manpower sorted for the fairy course. How do I know? Well we lost a load of AV types for said reason, only to have them replaced with retards (armourers for those who needed help). Now just shut the feck up and get on with whatever you can over the next 6 weeks. But then seeing as you've probably only been away from Tossford for about 18 months since becoming an AMM you probably think the airforce owes you something. Think again.

I suppose you feel it demeaning that you have to march around on the snake as well.

Well said FLT. Not really sure they actually march in the snake. Most times I see it, it reminds me of a centipeed with it's legs broken. Maybe some extra drill would not go amiss!

That sounds like someting that could fill the six weeks of nothing. Drill the whinging feckers to death. May also give the Trenchard discips something to do as well.:S
