Oh come on, how many of us have convinced the 'other half' that we're watching Athletics to support the Brits, when in fact we're basically drooling over some fit pole vaulter, etc.

No, what it means is when the title says FIT athletics burds, that's what you post in the thread. It's not rocket science is it.

If you want to start your own thread with not so fit athletics burds, feel free.

Have I wandered into a forum run by the members of the Pedantic Society, or is it the Society of Pedantics - I am sure you will correct me if I am wrong?

If, as you have pointed out, it is not rocket science then how come half of the pictures are not of Athletics birds, and that is without getting into how many could actually be considered fit (Tessa Sanderson)?

If people find the posts offensive to the point where they are pleased they have been removed then I apologise however, I am not the first nor will I be the last person to go off-piste in one of these threads.

Point is you posted a munter in an attempt to be amusing. Top tip, is isn't amusing, it gets done on every bird thread ever. On the whole internet. You did not (I presume) find her either fit, or athletic?

The post was not offensive, it was boring, clichéd and tired (and would derail the thread, just like it derails all other 'bird' threads when the funny guy posts a fat ugly woman)

Now, this is really derailing this thread some more, so I suggest that if you want to wail any more about this matter, and PM's offend you, go and start a new thread in fight club or something where you can whinge to your hearts content.
