Nuts, just how much will you be out of pocket?

The decision by your Admin is wrong, simple as. If they're not prepared to change it then submit an Allowance casework application to the PACCC. Thing is, the decision is so wrong, if it were my unit and that casework went off unit to PACCC, as a Chf Clk, I'd be so embarrassed.

Ummm about £300 quid which may not sound alot but when I trying to move house and everything else that goes with becoming a civvy it's alot and I know I'm entitled to it. I actually think I will write to PACC and see what they say.

This subject has raised its head at my unit, largely because my Cpl had her HDT stopped for her annual leave prior to taking maternity, and there was a "heated" discussion between myself and our A1 SNCO, who was of a totally opposite viewpoint to me.

He could not accept that two people who travel the same distance for the whole of a leave year could be paid different amounts of HDT (ie one gets nothing) because one takes their leave throughout the year, whilst the other saves their leave and takes it at the end of their time on unit, prior to taking Terminal/Maternity leave.

We agreed to differ - fortunately I have the JSP behind me and will continue to treat everyone equally in accordance with it!

Nuts, do it. It'll take about 10 mins. I'm more than happy to get my Allowances caseworker on it for you. He's an old Chf Clk and TBH mate, we don't lose many cases, if any.

PM me if you want any assistance.
