Hello all.

Just a quickie, after having trawled (albeit briefly) through JSP752 I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea of my entitlements on posting.
I am married living out in my own house, I presently commute to my current unit and will be doing the same at my future unit. I currently receive HTD.

Many thanks

Will your posting result in you moving house and, if it does, will you be selling and then buying, selling and moving into FQ, or keeping your house and renting it out and moving into FQ?

Will be staying in my current house, so no move at all other than place of work. Im not expecting to get anything to be honest just thought I would make sure.

Thanks for the reply

I think that your expectations are spot on.

Certainly no disturbance allowance which is for:
the necessary additional expenses that arise when the Services require their personnel to make a qualifying move from one place of residence to another.

You could possibly claim for a posting journey to your new unit at the Private Car Rate see JSP752 Chapter 4 Secion 6 MMA Sub-para 04.0609. c.

04.0609. General. Provided the private motor vehicle is insured, as outlined in paragraph 04.0617, Service personnel may use their private motor vehicles and claim MMA at PCR in the following circumstances: ...

...
c. On change of duty station within the UK or within an overseas theatre. ...

No problems - after a day like mine it's good to be constructive.

If you're on a sqn, try popping across to the Sqn clerks and chat it over with them. If you let them know what you want to chat to them about it will give them chance to check up on the current facts (ie have any T letters been released that haven't been incorporated in the JSP).

No Move No Money

No Move No Money

If you are not moving then the RAF's got nothing to compensate you for.

You should be entitled to a duty journey from your last station to your new one, and if you had your HTD abated because you previously claimed legal fees or disturbance allowance then this should clear.
