Meant to post this a while ago but forgot...

For all you ex-RAFG types in the Lincs area who get all misty eyed when words like Warsteiner et al come up in conversation there is now a German bier warehouse open next to the filling station in Waddington...I looked through the window and it was deffo full of German looking stuff so fill your boots...

When I pushed my nose up against the window I couldn't seee any Wobbly to be honest...nor Bitburger. It seemed to be stocked with real specialist German brews...plenty of selection and I'm sure the names would have a segment of you foaming at the mouth but they meant nothing to me!

I'll pop in next time I fuel up and get a price list...

I went in yesterday.

24x 500ml bottles of wobbly = £52.80.
Show your RAF I.D. and get 10% discount. So it came to £47.52.

He did carry the case to the car for me though, which was nice as it weighs 19kg. It now weighs considerably less, as does my wallet.

That works out at 21.12 pints at £2.25 a pint...Not too bad.
