Help needed (Quickly)

One of my friends who served in the RAF for over 20 years has been diagnosed with CML (a form of cancer that attacks the blood) He needs some special drugs but the people who control what drugs are bought in England have said it’s too expensive and won’t provide it (you can get it in Scotland). Please can I ask you to sign the petition to change the decision.

This might sound crass and a bit out of place, but is there any chance of him either being posted to Scotland, I am sure PMA would help given the circumstances, or renting a cheap flat and registering that as a permanent address.

No mate he,s out of the RAF now and living down south. if he moves to Scotland now he has been confirmed with the Cancer the health people wont give him the drug because they say hes only moving there to get the drug.

I think the clue was in the use of "served" rather than serving. All the same, you are right and surely RAFA or SSAFA ought to be brought in as the artillery first? has this been explored? They are not without clout.
