Well I think it's tragic. 2 deaths, 2 families grieving, one orphan, 2 others' lives ruined and not to mention the shock and trauma of the train driver. They obviously did it for the money which implies that they must have needed it badly to do something so risky. Maybe if benefits were increased to a liveable level a lot of this could have been avoided.

Seriously?? Do you mean this?? Give the dole dossers more ferking money so the theiving cnuts can buy more drugs with their money and will probably still commit crimes left right and charlie!! I know that not everyone on the dole is there through choice especially during our current climate but c'mon these 2 men are losers... scumbags and as the others have said got what they deserved!

No - I'm serious. Died trying to rob a shop of some coats? These weren't murderers, they were almost kids. Maybe they couldn't get jobs and got desperate in the run up to xmas? I don't know but the result outweighs the crime.

Anyway, last time I looked, this was a civilised country and as such is supposed to provide for the most unfortunate members of our society - regardless of the reason.
