Does anyone know the 'proper name' for sugar board. Even better, does any one have a sect/ref for it?DT_Xtremez_26:
There are commerical PRC softening chemicals and plastic scrapers available and universally used in the civil industy. I will look up the part numbers tomorrow and see if I can access the safety data sheets. The old tool foam is a jurrassic way of removing PRC, like the idiots that use GS screwdrivers and metallic scrapers to do so.. You will damage the airframe with scribe lines however careful you think you are!
I do know the part numbers of some particulary useful soft scrappers authorised by boeing.. Think Kemfast Aerospace supply them and the 10mm ones are 10108 and 20mm was 10109..

What about if you are really, really, really careful?

You would not believe just how careful we are here! DT_Xtremez_19:
On behalf of the jurrassic dinosaurs at St Athan, working on antiquated aircraft, I thank you for your pearls of wisdom.
