The BBC presentation team....!

So we're now well into the season, and the new team of presenters have had chance to get comfortable. What do you think of them? Is there anyone who comes across as an itch that you just can't scratch?
Here's my tuppence worth.

Jake Humphreys. Took me a few races to get used to his style, but now think he's quite good. More relaxed than his predecessor at the ITV, and I was impressed with his have a go attitude in the car with Jenson and Lewis last weekend at Silverstone.

Martin Brundle. I can't really fault him. He's alway's on the ball and his grid walk last weekend was brilliant. He bumped into so many dignitary's and dived straight in with them.

Jonathon Legard. Annoying cnut who talks over Martin during the race. Next please!

D.C. Mr cool as alway's. DC has made the transition to his new job with ease. A good, no bullsh!t attitude.

Eddie Jordan. I used to like Eddie as a team boss. The privateer who was prepared to go for it. Now, he is one of those interviewers who annoyingly ask people questions, and answer it themselves, and get your bl00dy hand out of your pocket.....................! Please..............do we have to put up with him?

Ted Kravitz. Brilliant up to the minute pitlane information. Seems to have a nack of getting the right info at the right time.

Come on folks, what do you think of them, and who could do better.

Jake Humphreys. Er, no, not for me I'm afraid. Will always be a kids TV presenter.

Martin Brundle. Brundle is by far and away one of the best commentators F1 has had. Consumate professional.

Jonathon Legard. Utter twonk who cannot seem to adopt the right tone of voice for any commentary situation and keeps interupting. Get rid.

D.C. - Exactly as you said it Grumps

Eddie Jordan. Annoying. No REALLY annoying. Says something then tries to pretend he didn't say it or that he was misquoted. Waffles on about nothing.

Ted Kravitz. Yep, good info from the pitlane.

Ok then, James Allen or Jonathan Legard? I know which one I would prefer to hear from and it isn't Allen.

Lee McKenzie. Gets a lot of drivers attention but her driver interviews during the race aren't quite up to what Louise Goodman did for ITV...

One thing I will add though not about any particular member of the team but the Jake, David, Eddie combination is almost cringeworthy at times.

Louise did have a nack of getting most of the drivers to talk to her after they crashed out.

The core people are correctly in place. Jake Humphries, DC and Ted Kravitz are spot on.

Lets face it, you put anyone in the commentary box with Martin Brundle and they are going to look like an amateur. Legard is better than Allen though.

On to EJ and Lee Mac, would we really care if their contracts wern't re-newed for next year. Bring back Louise.

The only real pebble in my sandal is the cnut Jake whatshisface. Fcuking rude, ignorant tw@t at best. I'd love to see him clipped by a car exiting a garage, just enough to break a coule of legs and put him in traction for the rest of the season. In fact let it be that other annoying cnut Hamilton doing the deed and getting banned in the process:pDT_Xtremez_14:

I cannot be doing with Eddie Jordan, he's just rubbish. Legard sounds like Stuart Hall at times so is really annoying. I like the new girly and Brundle but on the whole the team just doesn't seem to sit together right at all.

Bring back Murray...blah blah in my day...blah blah...jumpers for goalposts...blah blah...lol

Got to agree about the 3 amigos wandering the pitlane the only one worth his salt is DC.

How about brining Louise back and teaming her up with DC for the pitlane stuff.

I think Jake has improved although his "I cant shake your hand because my hand are full" is just plain rude.

Eddie Jordan. I used to like him, now I just think he is a bitter argumentative old man.

Legard should have stayed on the Radio.

DC isnt bad but Brundle is the best by far.

Its a shame they couldn't get the practice commentators involved during Sat and Sundays. Anthony Davidson is good on there and the Force India guy has some handy info now and again.

But yes....bring back Louise "my arm is full of bangles" Goodman. She got straight in there post crashes!

By the way, one of my favourite parts of the whole weekend is Martins grid walk.:pDT_Xtremez_30:

Of the threeI amigos I think the best is DC i would like to see him with jake without Eddie and DC and eddie without Jake.

As for the female element there is only one person and that as louise.

And legard rude and annoying.
