Hi, went to the local careers centre today to verify some stuff and they've booked my selection interview for just two days away! I really am not prepared because i was expecting it to be atleast a week away but the corporal likes me and seemed to think he was doing me a favour! So what sorts of things should i be memorising?

wouldnt get too worked up about the selection interview.

basically you need to remember all the different stages of halton, you should have been given a little book that breaks it all down for you. example days 1 - 18 is foundaion where you will learn basic drills etc. all in the book anyway.

he then just asks you about your family life, parent occupations and who do you live with etc. He then just asked about why i wanted to join, why i wanted to go for the position i did and that was pretty much it.

He did also test me on what types of planes RAF use at the min and what main countries we were based in but i think he was just doing this because of the trade i was going for and also to warn me that i would need to know that info by heart for the specialist interview.

just be honest about why you want to join etc and im sure you will be fine. good luck.
