New Rank for the RAF Regiment

Just been handed a pleasant bit of gen, saying that the RAF Regiment will shortly be implementing the rank of Lance Corporal, in order to give the SAC acting as 2 i/c under a Corporal some legal authority and pay to reflect his responsibilities.

My gen says that the only limitation is that the Lance Corporal will not be able to officially charge an SAC.....but his comments will have a great influence on the Corporal.

Thoughts from serving rocks, or anyone, for that matter??
