Firstly they are a bunch of cnuts that wont do a forces discount but if you put the code "CPWINT" into their online system at the minute you can get 25% off Winter breaks.

Not everybody's cup of tea but a good deal if you stay outside the school holidays.

They`re a bunch of robbing throbbers CentreParcs UK.

Two years ago i priced a 4 night break for 5 of us, in November, in Cumbria. £1800 to freeze our arses off for half a week. Not a chance.

Then found this-

Last year, 6 of us went for 9 nights, in May, to Germany, FOR £1200. 5 miles from the Nurburgring....oh yes.

So my advice, save money and go abroad.

CentreParcs prices seemed reasonable at first when I went to the one near Nottingham a good few years ago, until I realised you have to pay extra for virtually anything you want to do. Quite apt I thought at the time, the place being in Sherwood forest home of Robin flamin' Hood.
The flamin' thieves would have charged us for the air we breathed if they could have got away with it.

During school holidays then the Holland option is the one to take, 6 of us went last Feb, was £900 for 2 cars and the chalet versus £1200 in this country. Book it through Forces Travel to get an even better discount (they don't do a discount on the UK parks!)

I did say to steer clear of the holidays, there are bargains to be had.

Anyone had any recent joy with discounts at Center Parcs? Thinking of going to sherwood for a week, but judging by this thread, I won't be getting it any cheaper.

My family and some friends of ours are going to CenterParcs Longleat in June and the only discount I could find was for booking early with them almost a year in advance. I agree that the activities are expensive but our nippers are only little and just want to muck about in the pool all day. We will not be going once they grow out of that; it would cost a fortune. Some friends went to a CenterParcs in Holland a couple of years ago. For the same money as staying at one in the UK, they got the a better standard of chalet and covered the cost of getting their Volvo dealer-serviced while they were there. The service was about half what it would have cost at home and they got a better holiday out of the deal.
