Washing your hands...

Is anyone else listening to Radio 2?

I like to hear what they are moaning about. Now it is hand washing.

How often do you wash your hands? and would you be offended if someone didn't wash their hands before they made you a cup of tea?

Oh now he's mentioned eating fish and chips with your hands... hasn't he heard of a chip fork??

Come on Jeremy V!

Wash my hands after using the little boys room, thats about it really. Obviously if I had been playing in mud (for some reason) and was about to eat a sausage and chips from the chippie, chances are I would wash them again. :D

As for washing your hands before making a cuppa? Have a word Radio 2.

I wash my hands after going to the bog certainly but I have to admit after years in Has's and on exercises I got out of the habit before eating.

Wash hands after using the toilet, before and after food preparation and obviously if I've been doing any dirty work, Gardening etc. At work I have to wash them frequently and use that anti-bacterial gel.

I wouldn't be offended if someone didn't wash hands before making a cup of tea, as long as their general personal hygiene was good and also that they didn't fish the tea bag out with their fingers.

I have learnt however never to eat or buy any of the food prepared at work as I've personally had to pull several people up for not washing hands after the toilet or before preparing food for sale. I would love environmental health to pay work a call for an unexpected visit.

Nah, just lick them clean.

But not too clean, then you can wave them under your mates noses the following day !! :pDT_Xtremez_42:

If I don't pi$$ on my fingers I don't normally bother. On top of that, the little brain doesn't generally see much action these days anyway so I tend to pi$$ and run, but I ALWAYS wash hands after a trap trip.

ALWAYS before handling foods...... Especially other people's.

How many of you wash your hands before going to the toilet?

Before and after a cigarette?

One of the most common transmission routes for gastro intestinal illness is the faecal -oral route. Hospital focus on using alcohol/antibacaterial gel but this stuff will not 'clean your hands'. Any soiling must be physical removed ie washing to improve the efficacy of these products. Yes they are better than nothing but you cannot beat liquid soap (doesnt need to be anti bac), running warm water and drying off with a paper towel.

Don't see the point of washing after a fag. I don't have the yellow fingers as I only smoke about ten a day but i can't see what difference it would make - the damage is already done inhaling it! :D
