Quote from the BBC web-site:

Labour's chief whip Geoff Hoon said: "There's no crisis This isn't something that's going to affect the fundamental stability of the government."

Most of us who are old enough, will remember a similar quote from James Callaghan when he returned from sunning himself in the Carribean during the 'Winter of Discontent' in 1978. Not long after that, Liabour's @rse was severely kicked in the 1979 election. History repeating itself perhaps?

God, I hope so!

No one wants you Brown, you pretended all the problems were inherited from the Tories, after 10 years I don't that little line is going to wash anymore.

And you can't blame B'LIAR, because we know you were both, "running the country", by which you meant, "lining your pockets", together.

You even managed to lock yourself in a toilet! That sounds like the actions of a fcukwit to me.

You've taxed everyone in evermore sneaky ways, and brought us taxes in the guise of Enviromental protection.

As lister says, "He's about as popular as a horny dog at a miss lovely legs competition"

I listen to the James Whale show on talksport late nights, he has suggested that the only way to get politicians to sit up and take notice is to turf them out. The best way will be to unseat every politician at the next general election. I would take this one step further and suggest everyone votes for an independent. We know the civil servants and permanent under secretaries run the gig pretty much so lets give them a new set of masters who will smash the status quo:pDT_Xtremez_09:

Couldn't agree more. I've banged on loads of times about our tired 2 party system, it needs to change otherwise this thread will be repeated every 4/5 years ad infinitum.:raf:

Well Gordon, did you get the message last night ?
We the working people of Great Britain are fed up with you and your colleagues taking the pi$$ out of us.
We've had enough of your lies about inflation, the 2% pay rises for public sector workers while you all receive more. Your expense accounts, your extra house near work (I wish I could have one of those) paid for by our taxes.

We're fed up of OUR money being wasted on paying benefits to people who won't work, yet enjoy a better standard of living than most working people.
Donations to banks to protect shareholders while they're allowed keep their profits !
The massive amount of tax on our fuel and increasing road tax too.
Most of us HAVE to drive to work now because there is no work anywhere near our homes and we couldn't afford to buy a house where we work anyway.
Pathetic prison sentences in holiday camp prisons where prisoners don't WANT to try and escape and appear to reooffend to get back on easy street.

Your lucky you didn't wake up to a country full of BNP councils Gordon, next time you might NOT be so lucky.

Stop taking the pi$$ out of us or your fired.

Apologies Admin if this is the wrong place, but I didn't think Gordon is a Goater and he couldn't read it if I put it in fight club.

Don't you just love spin. I am in a vat of boiling oil, my hair is on fire and I am starting to get a wee bit warm. However, there is no problem, there is no crisis. We shall look at how we move forward from these disappointing results. Smell the caffeine nobbers...... :pDT_Xtremez_25:

Am I the only one who expected to see "it's brilliant (brillient) innit". Maybe better education should be a serious consideration.

All the photos of Gordon show him looking so sad and dejected, one could almost feel sorry for him.

If I find that one I'll look into building a patio :pDT_Xtremez_15:

I realised on my drive home earlier that I missed one of the big ones out, so
I apologise for letting the side down.

Gordon wasn't going to give us the referendum on Europe either, despite the fact that Labour used it to get elected. I wonder if yesterday has changed his mind yet ?

Venom 72, you can't dress up a turd. Labour tried that trick with Michael foot :pDT_Xtremez_31:

But Labour did agree to give local people the chance to vote on whether their local councils were all brought together into one super council.

Okay the majority of the vote was a resounding no and yet as of yesterday we now have a single super council, but we did get to vote. Even if they did ignore the result.

I think Scaley Brat summed it all up in one

:pDT_Xtremez_30:

I think if the BNP are a good vote , maybe there hard line views for some on racial things need to be sorted first before they can be serious but I would vote them in as im fed up of seeing Britain becoming Brislam and all that we were once proud has now been taken away. A government with balls not afraid and i will follow too

I noticed the Ginner colouring, are you a relative of Penguins Suck?

But you knew how to add a link, so methinks you may not be quite as much of a mong as you let on

Back to the point in hand, GB was a lame duck from day one, it was just a case of when and how!

The only problem now is that all the options are as bad as each other....

Personally i'm of the opinion that if you show an interest in being an MP you should be sectioned under the mental health act as a preventative measure!
