Now maybe we've all gone off on one a bit early here - I may be wrong but........

I've looked at the bulletin and true enough it says there are hundreds of SAC/JT of the trade in question and almost 200 of them are A grade but zero are predicted to be promoted in the next 6 months..........

But then again the trade in question is now obsolete so they couldn't be promoted in it could they?

However they may well have been selected for promotion in the new trade but the new trades aren't displayed in the table concerned.........

I don't know the answer to this but maybe some of our more senior shiney members could check and let us know???

The promotion board looks ahead 15 months, not just 6. The best indicator of the number of expected promotions is the number of 'A' grade candidates. With 180 'A' grades I would expect to see 60-80 promotions over the next 15 months. With a 6 month promotion prediction of 'nil' ACOS Manning clearly expect most or all of those promotions to happen in the second half of the promotion year, i.e., once manpower reviews, etc., are completed.
