Position on the Park

Having played in every position on the park apart from wing I spent my time working my way from 15 to 1. As my body slowed the number on my back decreased in line with the number of times I made a clean break per season!!!!

Having retired a while ago through injury I took up refereeing 11 years ago and worked my way up through to Regional development squad level. I am more than happy to ref or indeed run touch if required.

As a student of the Maori sidestep auchtermuchty i think you may get used as a ball carrier in some of the forward penalty moves. Nothing flash just simple crash ball stuff!

seriously though I am comfortable anywhere on the park so as was stated before by others, move me if you need to.

Loose head or 2nd row can't/won't/hate tight head cracked my sternum a few years back and tight head agravates it ! See there's room on the bench for a few poofballers if we're short of subs ! known to dabble on the wing too only because it's too far to the ruck on the far side, scored my last try out there against Digby a few weeks ago.

The team so far, as we have a number of utility players some positions may yet change.

Squipper if you want to play you can, i'm sure we can fit you in although its useful to have a Ref in the squad to find ways of using the laws to best effect!

There are still places for none players such as Doc, physio, etc more the better.

I think SirSaltyHelmet was a scrum half in his youth - you'll have to check on that though....although American poofball sems more his cup of tea of late.

I think WGAF was a center as well....................now training to be a physio...

in my 21 years in rugby ive played in every position apart fron 10, 12 and 13...but most of those 21 years have been spent in the front row...loose head mainly but have played at hooker or tighthead when needed too...only special people can be part of the front row union!!!DT_Xtremez_30:

Still love to play at hooker ar loosehead and at a push would still play tight.

Looking at the team so far I quite fancy a pop at openside but I would need to get my hair done first. and at 5'6" I think 2nd row could prove fatal.

I would fill in on the wing but there is no chance I will ever get into a shirt with 11 or 14 on the back.
