Everyone that has said "yes," will get a PM to let them know where the start point is. We all know it is Lincoln...We can guess that it will be in a superior establishment...How else will they cope with the mess dress and ball gowns?


Please guys, because of security we are keeping this amongst the attendees as much as possible. The start point will be easy enough to find!

Why, I am terribly sorry for reading the thread several times already and not being able to find bit that says "all goaters will get a PM telling them the meet point" as opposed to "only people we invite will get a PM". Civility costs nothing you horrible rude man.

An un invited guest is one who has not had a pm with the start point and time.

It was said quite early on as to why the location wouldn't be given publicly, as un wanted or un-invited guests i.e, journos would get wind of it

Ladies and Gents.

Because of the recent and current environment, I would think that personal security would be at the forefront of everyones thoughts. Lincoln is a open city, unfortunately we can't close it off for our doo. With that in mind and to preserve as much annonymity as possible, we can keep the invites to Goaters only.

No one is banned! No one is not invited. It is an open city and we are not living in Stalinist Russia, but we do not have to tell everyone who or where we are!

Guys if this sounds like a rant well thats because it is. I will PM those that have said yes to attending, and I would appreciate it if they kept it to themselves!
