Just had a quick peek of the Diana tribute concert at Wembley on TV.

The stadium looks half full!, IMHO I think these concerts has been flogged to death.

The woman has been dead 10 years, why dont people just get over the fact.

I'll never be forgiven for not staying in weeping the day she died, my missus thought it was compulsory. I didn't watch the funeral either, I went fishing both days. I thought she had lost the plot then with all that banging on about stuff she didn't understand and shagging half the male population of West London. It hardly merited her elevation to sainthood 10 years ago let alone now.

I have my ear phones on and some decent music, the central band of the RAF playing souza, I damn near saluted myself just then:pDT_Xtremez_42:

I spent the day doing something far more important too. Was at Assen, Holland watching Foggy & Jamie Whitham in the WSB and gettin drunk. :pDT_Xtremez_28:

The acoustics of Wembley aren't that good, the roof seems to rattle a lot, when I saw Muse there, during the support bands it sounded like the whole crowd was singing along, but slightly out of time, I bet it would sound great for a sporting event though. The sound on TV should come straight from the mixing desk though, so should be almost perfect.
I notice they have seats on the pitch area, that's going to reduce the capacity by 10's of thousands I would think.

I am also a member of the 'who gives a fcuk that she died' group. I never knew her, she didn't do anything for me while she was alive, and I had no sympathy cards from her or her family when my mother died so why should I return false sympathy for her?

Wembley holds 90,000 and approx 63,000 people went last night so it was definately more than half full.

What concerts have been flogged to death? ones with live bands?

So what if her sons wanted to put on a concert to celebrate her birthday, it was her SONS idea ffs, when my mum passes away I will NEVER get over it.

I thought it had an ok mixture of different acts although I didnt watch all of it, and the proceeds from the ticket sales are going to charity!!!! At least it was better than a bunch of non-celebrities trying to sing/or live in a house being filmed 24hrs a day!!!
