Just watched the afore mentioned cook.
Why is it they always have to mix with the Rodneys?
Not a liney in site.
Well there was, but got out of shot PDQ.
1) Was the producer having a paddy? - 'Get that greasey oik away!!'
or
2) Did he want to avoid the mother-of-all slabbings?

I agree never any bloody line swine in shot, pouncy ruperts get all the fun!! some QRA jet still with intake covers, no head set and no jockeys kit lying round cluttering the has up!! no wonder it took 25 mins to airbourne the doors opened and no fecker was any where near the thing.
And why the super geek fest of quoting speed, the bloody thing needs 1 mile of run way and cant go vertical!

WTF, who gives a damn about his culinary skills, it's Gordon "I'd give him plenty" Ramsey. I'm so disappointed no one thought to at least kidnap him for me :pDT_Xtremez_41:

It was our place he came to. Just visited the PBF and hung around with the aircrew for a few hours.

We EVEN had to put off a lad's leaving do beercall for a few hours cos they didn't want any G crew around!:pDT_Xtremez_17:

He also got a PAX trip. ( I BF'd the jet and wrote " Jamie Oliver was ere" on his rear view mirror. ) Hav'nt seen the footage, but they taped a camera into the backseat, don't know if that would have made the cut...:pDT_Xtremez_15:

It also came from up high that he WAS not to be visiting any of the messes. Wonder why?

Made me cringe!

Made me cringe!

I had to turn the bloody channel over! I was down on 54 when Steve Coogan got a back-seater, the 'leaders of men' made sure he never came near line control, some things never change!!

Ah! kawoloki is so right, I and another polish sounding liney of 54 saw in and serviced steve coogans mighty jag. as soon as the chocks where in and ladders on we were told to do one by the aircrew so they could do some creepy fawning round old coogars. I can say we didn't and even went as far as to annoy the growbags by asking for photos with steve, who was only to happy to do so!!!
Oh and he was pointedly told to send any freebies to the geen suited master race. Who says its just a flying club? never.::p:

The only decent guy we gave a PAX trip too was Ally Mcoist, We made sure he got strapped in by a Liney called "Pope" so you can guess what team in Glasgow he supported. They had a decent bit of banter before and after the trip. Plus he came into the ground crew, grew room and much to the annoyance of the growbags, spent an hour tea drinking talking foot ball signing things and having pics taken.

Top lad:pDT_Xtremez_28:

Oh and it was good that Ramsey went to 43 had he dared wander onto Temblers i'm sure Mo would have killed him, afterall it is her feeder afterall

the mrs said yesterday............ "are you going to throw away all his books if he chucks up?".....

Afraid he did, the jockeys always take great pleasure in trying to get any PAX to throw up after all. :pDT_Xtremez_30:

Going without breakfast is the only sure way of avoiding it, and I can't see GR going without his scrambled quail's eggs and fois-gras, can you?

well they didn't manage it with me!!! and thats on a long trip (school mate of mine arrived on sqn as jockey and i obviously ended up with a few more perks than your average pax trip!!)......... and mine was being thrown around the lake district and the hills of scotland too, not at 20,000 ft in level flight...

my top tip to the scots man......... have a HAS site feeder special of pie, chips, peas and half a loaf of bread, washed down with two mugs of tea....

but just in case stuff every pocket of your kit with puke bags just in case...

the books are off the shelves and in the placky bags ready for oxfam......

Coz your PAYD scheme is @r$e! We spent a happy time being looked after by tremblers and Mo 18 months ago. that feeder was fine - main mess not so good. Loads of complaints form the lads. Us poor buggers in the old folks home had a 1st evening choice of Spag Bol (3 portions between 8 of us) or **** all as we hadn't been told to pre-book. Not a good start to the det.

I remember the days (swings lantern) late 80s early 90s when Leuchars JRM was one of the best I had the pleasure to eat in. Their team always seemed to win the prizes in the "Chef-in" competitions.

The Sqn feeders are ok if you like assorted, re-heated pies, chips and beans. Anything else and your fooked.

Though it can depend on who is cooking at the time, some bean-heaters do seem to make more of an effort than others.
