Trust me Tony stars again. Business leaders meetings, might raise some cash for party funds or even peerages. This disregard for the British forces and an unwillingness to even debate the matter in person shows what a contemptable prat the man is. British forces welfare and the way out of this Iraq mess or business leaders with cash hmmmmmm just highlights his priorities to$$er.:pDT_Xtremez_25:

Lets be honest, it just confirms the contempt these so called leaders of democracy hold this counties armed forces in. As for the labour whips not providing tellers so a vote cannot be taken, are you really suprised about the tactics. This government has a history of riding roughshod over the parliamentry rules and regulations, bending them to their own ends, they were never going to allow MPs to vote on an issue they had no hope of winning!

And yet every time we see him meeting the troops they are smilling and only too willing to shake his hand!

I for one would flattly refuse to meet him. And before someone comes up with the fact that you are forced to meet him, what could they honestly do to you if you refused to meet him or refused to shake his hand at least? What a PR disaster it would be for Tone if he put out his hand to shake some soldier/sailor/airmans hand on one of his morale boosting trips and they refused! :pDT_Xtremez_14:

Cant stand the cnut or his visually repulsive excuse for a wife spending a years wages on hair cuts, plastics surgery would have been understandable ish, still a frivolous waste.
I hope they drown in a bizare elephant bukakee incident.

What an absolute fcukwit. I'll never shake the tossers hand. It is ironic that he appears to never visit forces bases in the UK. As he knows what will happen to him. Around a couple of hundred angry wifes trying to string him up, for being such an uncaring, irresponsible, stupid prick that he is.:pDT_Xtremez_28:

Can you imagine the reeming/damming report you would get if you did!!! Although it would be a personal disaster you can imagine the order from coming down from upon high to make your life as miserable as possible for the forseeable future. I would like to think that the upper eschalons of the RAF/local managers would respect and support you but i think you'd get hung out to dry personally.

Dream on, CM, dream on.

The main reason why anyone brave enough to do such a thing as refuse to shake Bliar's hand would definitely find all hell breaking loose about him is that our glorious leaders have even less backbone than Bliar himself!

OK, so, you refuse to shake the cnuts hand on T.V because you disagree with his policies, his leadership and the deplorable way he and his government have treated the armed forces. You haven't been rude or offensive, you simply refuse to shake hands with the tw*t. You are then hauled over the coals by the airships, you (or your wife/husband/parents etc) then go to the papers and tell them what a rough deal you've had and how badly you've been treated.....double whammy for blair and the airships, the papers would have a field day.

Well first things first, you would have to get your other half(or other non-serving person) to do that other wise your double ****ed, it's a nice idea but fundamentally floored, either way your going to get reemed full stop. Perhaps that''s the cynic inside speaking but that is honestly what i think would happen.

But that's just the thing, it would be a public relations nuclear explosion for the government and the air force if they persecuted you for simply refusing to shake hands with him. More so if a couple of people did it!

Fortunately for mr bliar has plenty of spin doctors and i think the person/persons would be made to look like the a bunch or malcontents. While i never voted for the cnut and never will vote for a party that constantly screws the armed forces(TSR2 anyone).

I personally would not want to be in that position.

The only real time that this would work for the person was if they'd PVR'd or had th epension in the bag - What are the Grand Fromages going to do? Sack you? Don't make me laugh. OK so you'd get reamed. Get busted - get family to the press. You can't have more than one or 2 folks do it coz then it looks like mutiny - quite a serious offence really. Can't remember what the punishment is though.

Exactly. I'd love to ignore the tw@t on a visit, but know that I'd swallow my pride because I still need to feed and house the kids. Also, if I write off my pension rights, they've saved a load of cash so that Cherie can have a new hair do.

How funny would it be though if, as Bliar came to shake hands with someone the whole section turned their backs on him and crossed their arms. Funny as fcuk.

I concur with the fact though that you would get seriously reamed from a great height.

Bliar and his cohorts are a bunch of tw@ts::/:

Salute Blair? only with 2 fingers.

Because he's the Prime Minister. He is appointed by HM the Queen, and runs the Queen's parliament. All CABINET MPs should be saluted.

Whether you like them or not doesn't come into it.

Do you go around your station only saluting Officers that you like?

Bliar leads (if you can call it that) Her Majesty's Government, not Parliament, which is an entirely different thing.
