How come the UK camps dont stand a chance?
Scotland bid for and got JSF.
Saints has got this.
How many English camps are shutting???

Not just any army battalion, the new SF support group! Basically Paras with some more paras thrown in. Can't wait to back there on some random course, take my lump hammer out with me on the lash!

How do you define the 'United' part of UK? Just the English portion? Anyway, if one camp in Scotland, N Ireland or Wales were to shut down what percentage per country would that be? What about if one English camp were shut? How many questions can I get in here?

Didnt mean it to sound that way. It's just frigging annoying that so many options are falling of the dream sheet.
I am at a camp which will close next year.

It's funny really. Did mech course at Halton, fitters course at Cosford. Might end up doing something at Saints as well!

All that can really be said is, well done Bean Counters you really are saving money!

The services are crumbling under your sway, we are NOT a business to make a profit or break even, we are a cost and will always remain a cost so that you (accounts) can sleep at night.

Not much on here from the tossford massive. The only good thing to come from this is that Mech ToSs will close.:pDT_Xtremez_30:

At least I'll be out of here before the move takes place, with any luck to the one remaining AT base to still be earmarked for being open past 2012.

At least the decision was made on sound financial grounds and not politically motivated in any way what so ever.:pDT_Xtremez_42:

So now we know, Saints will become a centre of excellence for combined service training! Ok, perhaps excellence is a bit strong but that's the MoD for you!

On the plus side, Cardiff is a top night out and S Wales irls are great fun. I spent 6 years at Saints, sh*t work but top social life.
